Dibba Rotti

Cooks in: 30 Minutes Serves: 4 People

Dibba Rotti or Minappa Rotti is a traditional Andhra dish best suited for breakfast or dinner. This is neither a dosa nor idli! Rice grits are mixed with urad dal batter and just before making, spices are added  and often served with some chutney. Curved pan/ilupachatti is used for making this. I used an aluminium chatti and replaced rice with Kodo Millet for this recipe and got perfect crispy and soft dibba rotis!

Motichoor Laddu

This is my 100th post! So sharing a traditional sweet with a twist! Made it with multi millet flour, gram flour and used palm sugar candy/Panam Kalkandu as a sweetener! The result was absolutely delicious and I assure that you just can't stop with one! Laddus are made during festivals and Pooja days and I offer these laddus and blogging achievement to Lord Shiva on this auspicious day of Shivratri!!

Ragi Dhokla

Cooks in: 20 Minutes Serves: 2 People

Dhokla is a gujarati snack made with gram flour. The spiced batter is steamed, cut and seasoning is done before serving. I used Ragi Rava Idli mix to make dhoklas and they turned out perfect! Soft, firm, fluffly and above all tasty!
