This is the basic szechwan sauce recipe for all my preparations. Try this and you will never buy again from the market which contains too much of preservatives and MSG!!

Szechwan Thattai

Thattai is also known as nippatu or Chekkalu. Rice flour is mixed with spices and deep fried to make crispy thattais. The spices may vary to give a different taste. I used multi millet flour for this and used home made schezwan sauce to give a completely different flavour.

Varieties in dosas are never ending! How about carrot and tomato in a dosa? Want to impress the kids with the bright colour? This is the best choice! No side dish is required, as the dosa itself is spicy! Serve with curd!!
