We all know that horse gram is high in iron, calcium, and protein. In fact, horse gram has the highest calcium content among pulses and is one of the richest vegetarian sources of protein, low in lipid and sodium content, and its slow digestible starch make ideal for diabetic and obesity patients. Horsegram idli recipe received a lot of validations and I am sure this dosa recipe is also going to be a favourite of all.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 Cups Jowar/Sorghum Grains
- 1/4 Cup Horsegram
- 1 Tbsp White Whole Urad or Split Dal
- 1.75 to 2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Fenugreek/Methi Seeds
- Idli Powder to serve with
Directions:
- Take all the ingredients except salt in a wide bowl and wash thoroughly. Soak it for 8hours.
- Grind to a smooth batter and add salt. Ferment it overnight or for 8 hours.
- Make dosas and serve with sambar/chutney/podi

- Other millets can also be used for this recipe.
