Chilli Garlic/Burnt Garlic Noodles is an easy noodles recipe where silky noodles are tossed in chilli and soya sauce with lot of garlic. Those who love garlic must try this recipe! You can precook the noodles and and keep it in fridge to reduce the preparation time. This is one of my family's favourite and they love it with lots of crunchy veggies. Try this recipe and satisfy your taste buds!
Ingredients:
- 2 Packets/350 grms(approx) Millet Noodles
- 1/2 Cup each of (Carrots, Baby corn, Green, Yellow and Red Capsicum)
- 1 Cup Chopped Onion
- 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 2 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
- 2 Tbsp Red Chilli Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Soya Sauce
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Pepper Powder
- 2 Chopped Green Chillies
Directions:
- In a wide bowl heat enough water and cook the millet noodles along with a tsp of oil and 1/2 Tsp salt till they are 90% done. Do not over cook and make it mushy.
- Once done, drain the excess water and wash under running water and drain. Add a tsp of oil and keep aside. Let it cool.
- Heat a pan, add oil and garlic. Sauté till it turns brown. Now add onions and green chillies. Sauté for a minute. Now add all the veggies and sauté for two minutes on high heat. Now add both sauces, salt, pepper powder and cook till the veggies remain crunchy.
- Now add the noodles and with the help of two ladles. Toss till everything is blended well. Turn off heat and add spring onions. Serve immediately.
Note:
- Any millet noodles can be used for this recipe.
- Adjust chilli sauce, soya sauce and pepper according to your preference.
