Wraps are a perfect lunch box item, which have the right balance of all nutrients. Kids love the rolls as compared to normal roti and sabji. Since millets are gluten free, they break easily when rolled and that is why I have added wheat flour so that they retain their shape for a long time. Betel Leaf Rasam Rice

Betel leaf/Vetrilai/Paan ka patta has amazing medicinal properties and is a part of Indian culture. It helps in digestion, reducing gastric pain, relieves cough and increases hunger. Rasam is made out of these leaves. I made  rasam rice with these leaves and it was a perfect dish after a heavy meal on previous day!

Arai Keerai/Spleen Amaranth leaves are highly nutritious and they are widely used in almost all parts of India. Generally simple mash or gravy with lentils are made. I used these leaves and moong dal to get a balanced healthy rice variety with foxtail millet.

Tawa Pulav

Tawa Pulav is a famous quick fix rice variety generally available with pav bhaji vendors of Mumbai! Big tawa is generally used to make this dish. Pre cooked veggies and rice are mixed with pav bhaji masala and turned into yummy pulav! I used Kodo millet for this recipe.
